A family, a fire, and two decades on Rundle Street.

Sosta was created in 2004 with a simple idea, to cook the way they do at home in Argentina. Two decades on, we've built our reputation on quality produce, consistent service and genuine hospitality.

Our menus centre on the charcoal and wood-fire grill, drawing on Argentinian, Spanish and Italian traditions. We proudly support local SA and Australian producers, and we cook everything the way we always have, over fire.

Our signature wood-fire grill was designed and built on site, fired with charcoal and Australian wood for true asado flavour.

Local & dry-aged

Dry-aged meats and premium produce from SA and Australian growers, broken down and seasoned by hand in our kitchen each day.

From intimate dinners to taking over the venue, our private upstairs room and flexible dining spaces host groups of 10 to 100, with screen, private bar and custom menus from the same wood-fire grill.

Tuesday to Saturday on Rundle Street. Walk-ins welcome at the bar; for a table, a group or the private upstairs room, book ahead.
